final cut.
Tomorrow's the last day of the film course and we're having a private screening of our film. We wrote and edited the script on Monday, on Tuesday we caught the train and shot some country scenes, Wednesday we filmed in the office and around town and today we edited. It'll be interesting to see all our work coming together, though I'm cringing about seeing myself onscreen and hearing my crappy recorded voice. I'd tried to avoid this by volunteering as a statue, I wore David's grey hoodie and washed out jeans while the girls covered me in leaves and wove flowers and sticks into my hair. After that I enjoyed fooling around with the other minor characters. A girl in my year, Bethany and I have gotten quite close. We have quite a bit in common and she taught me how to put on eyeliner (I look like a girl now) so she's definitely in my good books. Some her subject choices are similar to mine so with any luck next year we'll be in one of the same classes.
spilt milk.
Ashley finally let the cat out of the bag. It didn't end well. Eve has always been awkward about feelings, I don't think she's ever had a boyfriend or kissed anyone, which surprises me because she's got such good looks and a great personality. Ashley took it pretty hard but now they're back on normal terms, according to him anyway. But I have this feeling things aren't as good as he says they are. Right now he has no self-confidence, he keeps putting himself down. Before when he was seeing his ex, he was so funny and his smile was gorgeous. I want to make him smile like that. Hopefully he bounces back soon enough, I can't stick him like this much longer it makes me so sad to see him this way. Because there's no use crying over spilt milk.
